Basic Food Hygiene & HACCP

Level 1

On completion of the food hygiene & HACCP Course participants will have acquired the basic level of food safety knowledge appropriate to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland level 1 training guidelines.

Level 2

This day long course covers the necessary skills required to practice HACCP effectively in the workplace.


Level 3

On completion of the food safety & HACCP level 3 training course, participants will have acquired advanced food safety knowledge, appropriate to the FSAI level 3 training guidelines.

Course Content:

The importance of food safety, How bacteria grow & contamination, Personal hygiene, cleaning and pest control, Safe food handling and storage, Introduction to HACCP & Record keeping, Course assessment.

Who can attend: All food handlers, refresher training.
Certificates: Valid for 2 years
